Wisdom

I found this quotation on my Gmail Quote of the Day.
An interesting contrast of Scripture and the secular worldview:

"The beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand."--Frank Herbert

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; fools despise wisdom and instruction"--Proverbs 1:7

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."--Proverbs 9:10

So, if you were to merge the worldly wisdom with the wisdom from Proverbs, then the holiness of God is something we cannot understand, which is true. Our God is holier than we could ever understand. "His ways are not our ways." His very person is beyond all human comprehension.
